The standard outside protection plate for 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Filter Series 100 is designed to protect the filter from spark and spatter.
Failure to use an outside protection plate with the filter voids the warranty if spark contaminates the glass.
Replace once to twice a week depending on use
Protects the outside of your 3M Speedglas™ Welding Helmet 100 from sparks and splatter
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and replace if pits or scratches occur
Check your equipment regularly to increase service life
Essential for the care and maintenance of your Speedglas™ welding helmet
