Long John is a PVC coated gauntlet with a cotton liner with an integral PVC sleeve.
This PVC gauntlet protects against acids and alkalis, and is EN388 safety compliant score for abrasion resistance.
The integral PVC sleeve is fastened by an adjustable velcro strap that extends protection to the upper arm.
The extra long length makes it perfect for working in water or liquids and will keep the wearer clean in unhygienic environments.
The cotton lining of the gauntlet is soft and absorbent, this keeps the hands cool and comfortable in prolonged use.

EN388 Resistance to Abrasion Level 4The protection factor is indicated on a scale from 1 to 5 depending on how many revolutions are required to make a hole in the material. The higher the number, the better the glove.
EN388 Cut Protection Level 1Based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample at a constant speed. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN388 Tear Resistance Level 2Based on the amount of force required to tear the sample glove. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN388 Puncture Resistance Level 1Based on the amount of force required to pierce the sample glove with a standard sized point. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
