Polyco Granite 5 Beta Cut Resistant Glove
The Polyco Granite 5® Beta 8909 is a high quality leather glove with a seamless knitted Kevlar® liner.
The double–stitched Kevlar® is a cut-resistant liner. It gives you the ultimate Cut 5 mechanical protection - the highest cut protection standard.
The Granite 5 Beta is made from a superior quality grain leather. It has a REINFORCED LEATHER THUMB crotch.
It even has a protective vein patch, and an elasticated wrist.
There is additional leather protection to the back of the wrist.
Glove length is 30-34cm long, depending on the glove size.
It is used widely by emergency rescue workers, as well as utility and automotive manufacturing.

EN388 Protection Gloves Against Mechanical HazardsDefines the protection given against mechanical and physical hazards. Testing methods - abrasion - perforation resistance - tear resistance - cutting resistance
EN388 Resistance to Abrasion Level 3The protection factor is indicated on a scale from 1 to 5 depending on how many revolutions are required to make a hole in the material. The higher the number, the better the glove.
EN388 Cut Protection Level 5Based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample at a constant speed. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN388 Tear Resistance Level 3Based on the amount of force required to tear the sample glove. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN388 Puncture Resistance Level 4Based on the amount of force required to pierce the sample glove with a standard sized point. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN407 Protection Against Thermal Risks: Heat/FireThis standard specifies thermal performance for protective gloves against heat and/or fire.
