Ansell 70-216 Neptune Medium Weight Cut Resistant Gloves
Knitted gloves designed to provide superior mechanical strength in light to medium-duty handling and production applications.
The DuPont™ Kevlar® reinforcement provides a very high cut resistance, offers enhanced comfort and dexterity.
Neptune® coating: glove fibres repel liquids, avoiding damage to the Kevlar® strands and extending glove life.
Reinforced thumb welt increases abrasion resistance.
Reversible design allows glove to be worn on either hand, reducing replacement costs.
Fully washable and can be reused many times.
Performance level 1 Contact temperature 100C >15s.
Ansell 70-216 Neptune Medium Weight Cut Resistant Gloves conforms to: EN 388:2003 1.4.4.X, EN420 and EN407 X1XXXX safety standards.

EN388 Protection Gloves Against Mechanical HazardsDefines the protection given against mechanical and physical hazards. Testing methods - abrasion - perforation resistance - tear resistance - cutting resistance
EN388 Resistance to Abrasion Level 1The protection factor is indicated on a scale from 1 to 5 depending on how many revolutions are required to make a hole in the material. The higher the number, the better the glove.
EN388 Cut Protection Level 4Based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample at a constant speed. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN388 Tear Resistance Level 4Based on the amount of force required to tear the sample glove. The protection factor is then indicated on a scale from 1 to 5.
EN407 Protection Against Thermal Risks: Heat/FireThis standard specifies thermal performance for protective gloves against heat and/or fire.
EN420 General Requirements Protective GlovesThis standard defines the general requirements under testing such as; Innocuousness, Construction of glove and Water Resistance
